BMT’s representatives have been accepted by the Minamata Convention UN Secretariat to act as experts on Mercury Waste.

Following on from BMT’s attendance at the first meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Minamata Convention on Mercury (COP1), which took place from 24 to 29 September 2017 at the International Conference Centre in Geneva, Switzerland,  BMT’s representatives Mr. Robert Jan Dubbeldam and Ms. Karen Boyce have been accepted by the Minamata Convention UN Secretariat to act as experts on Mercury Waste.  Our contributions to this committee will help to shape sustainable solutions and practices in mercury waste management.
